Dr Gustavo Crocker

Dr Gustavo A. Crocker was elected the 41st general superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene at the 28th General Assembly in Indianapolis, Indiana, in June 2013.Prior to his election, Crocker had served as Eurasia regional director since 2004. Previously, he was senior vice president for programs at World Relief Corporation.

Daniel is from Senegal, where he grew up as the son of a famous journalist. He first accepted Christ in 1995 and was mentored as a young man by a lay Nazarene Pastor from Cabo Verde and later by Nazarene missionaries throughout Africa. He has since gone on to mentor many other leaders through his work in West Africa.

Born again in 1984 at an Easter Camp, he has served in the local church in many capacities such as youth leader, NDI president, NMI president and church secretary.
